Hanoi city police have launched an investigation into a public disturbance case that occurred in front of the building at 169 Hoang Cau street.

Police also summoned 6 individuals aged 25 to 44 for questioning. The initial cause was identified as a dispute originating in an elevator at the Hoang Cau street building.
Previously, on the evening of 14/5, two women encountered a group of 4 others (two men, two women) while in an elevator at the Hoang Cau street building. The two sides then exchanged loud words over a general issue.
After exiting the elevator, the two women were attacked, with some individuals grabbing their hair and assaulting them. When residents intervened, the assailants paused and left in a Lexus. The incident, which police described as "causing public disorder," was recorded by residents and posted on social media, sparking widespread outrage.

Police advise residents to remain calm and act civilly in situations where conflicts arise. People must absolutely not gather or use violence that affects public order.
