Ho Chi Minh City police seek victims in child abuse case

Vu Phuong Hoang Linh is accused of raping individuals under 16 and also had sexual relations with several others whose identities and ages are currently unknown.

Ho Chi Minh City Police announced on 16/10 that they had detained Linh, 31, on charges of raping individuals under 16. The case occurred in June in Binh Hung commune.

According to the investigation, Linh allegedly used social media to approach children or male individuals. He then provided misleading information about gender to engage in same-sex sexual relations.

Authorities have identified two victims under 16. Linh also admitted to having sexual relations with several other individuals whose identities and ages are currently unknown.

The investigative agency requests that anyone who has been abused by Linh, or their representatives or guardians, contact them to provide information.
