Imposter parent sneaks into school, steals student's gold earrings

Dang Anh Loc, 31, confessed to planning the robbery of elementary school students and blending into the school to carry out the act.

On 8/9, Loc was detained by An Giang provincial police on suspicion of robbery.

Loc confessed to police that she had planned to rob elementary school students. She frequented the school gate, observing and selecting her targets.

On the morning of 5/9, Loc posed as a parent and slipped into Nguyen Du elementary school in Long Xuyen City. She followed a young girl wearing gold jewelry, forced her into a restroom, threatened her, and stole her gold earrings worth approximately 5 million VND (210 USD).

Loc had previously committed a similar crime at the same school.
