The investigation revealed that around 21:00 on 19/2, Valerii drove his girlfriend, Kambarova Aleksandra, 26, also a Russian national, to Club "Loco Late Night Music" on Vo Nguyen Giap street. There, Aleksandra encountered an acquaintance, Mitroshin Andrey, 39, also from Russia.
During their conversation, Andrey reportedly acted inappropriately, upsetting Aleksandra, who then asked Valerii to take her back to their hotel.
Around 23:30 that same day, while on their way back, Aleksandra recounted the incident to Valerii. Overcome by jealousy, Valerii turned the vehicle around, returned to the area in front of the bar, and punched Andrey in the face.
The impact caused Andrey to fall backward, hitting his head hard on the road. He sustained a fracture to his right frontal-temporal skull and other injuries.
A forensic examination report on 25/2, conducted by the Sub-institute of Criminal Science in Da Nang, confirmed that the victim suffered 43% bodily injury.
