Tay Ninh provincial police are investigating a shooting in Can Giuoc commune on 22/9, interviewing witnesses and examining the crime scene.

Duc, originally from Dinh Quan commune (Dong Nai), had been living with his 40-year-old girlfriend and her 63-year-old mother in Tay Ninh.

The couple had recently argued due to Duc’s jealousy. Their dispute continued that afternoon, culminating in Duc allegedly shooting both women multiple times with an unidentified firearm.

Neighbors, alerted by the gunshots, found the victims and rushed them to a hospital in TP HCM. Meanwhile, Duc barricaded himself inside the house and committed suicide. He was taken to a hospital but later died.
