Around 2 PM on 11/8, a young man from Ca Mau province arrived on a motorbike at a jewelry store on Tran Hung Dao Street, Dong Hoa ward, TP HCM, and asked to see some gold bracelets. When the staff member presented him with two bracelets, he tried one on.

While the store owner was distracted, the man quickly pocketed the other bracelet and ran to his motorbike, speeding off.

However, a store employee chased after him, knocking both the robber and his bike onto the sidewalk, and shouted for help. Bystanders joined in, subduing the robber and handing him over to the police along with the stolen bracelet.

Under questioning by the police, the suspect confessed to the robbery.
