Ho Chi Minh City Police arrested Nguyen Hong Giang, 53, Truong Anh Dung, 25, Truong Anh Tuan, 29, and Phan Hoang Phi, 33, on june 17. They are under investigation for disrupting public order.

According to the investigation, a dispute between two families arose on the night of june 7. Giang called Mr. Tuan, 48, which escalated into an argument and a challenge to fight. Immediately after, Giang contacted three other individuals, who then brought switchblades and metal tools to Mr. Tuan's house in the Intresco residential area, Binh Hung commune.
Upon arrival, Giang's group stood outside the gate, continuously yelling, issuing challenges, and threatening to harm Mr. Tuan and his family.
After receiving the report, Binh Hung Commune Police, in coordination with the Criminal Police Department, summoned those involved for questioning.
Investigators determined that the group carried weapons to resolve a dispute, causing a disturbance to public security and order. This led to their urgent arrest.
Ho Chi Minh City Police stated they would strictly handle acts of violence and the use of weapons to resolve disputes. They also advised residents to remain calm during conflicts.
