Tuan was detained on 15/9 by Ho Chi Minh City police for alleged disturbance of public order.

According to the investigation, on the afternoon of 12/9, Tuan was driving a car at the intersection of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Nguyen Binh Khiem streets (Sai Gon ward) when he collided with a motorbike driven by a 72-year-old man. Tuan exited his vehicle and repeatedly struck the elderly man's head. He stopped only when bystanders intervened.

The incident, which occurred in a crowded area, was filmed by several witnesses. Police investigated, interviewed those involved, and determined that Tuan's actions constituted a disturbance of public order.

Ho Chi Minh City police stated that all violations of the law, including assault and disturbing public order on traffic routes, will be strictly dealt with.

"People involved in traffic incidents should remain calm and resolve matters according to regulations, and absolutely avoid excessive behavior that affects security, order, and traffic safety," the investigating agency advised.
