On 13/8, Huynh Van Duc, 26, was declared wanted by An Giang Provincial Police on charges of intentionally causing injury.

According to the investigation, on 28/9/2025, Duc learned that his younger brother, Huynh Van Chinh, 26, had pawned their mother's motorbike for approximately 2 million dong. Enraged, Duc armed himself with a knife and sought out Chinh to demand the money back.

Chinh, who was staying at a nearby resident's house, initially refused to come out. Duc stood outside, shouting threats. About 10 minutes later, Chinh emerged and was attacked by his older brother, sustaining severe cuts that nearly severed his left wrist and injured several fingers on his right hand.

After the assault, Duc returned home while relatives rushed Chinh to the emergency room. Chinh suffered injuries resulting in a 51% disability.

Investigators have initiated legal proceedings and issued an arrest warrant for Duc, but he remains at large.
