Lang Son provincial police announced on 30/4 that their investigation police agency has charged Ngoc Anh, 42, a resident of Dong Kinh ward, with murder.

Ngoc Anh had a peaceful marriage with his wife from 2017 until early 2025. However, he suspected his wife of infidelity with a classmate, which led to intense conflict and ultimately, separation. This situation fueled his resentment.

Around 19h on 26/4, after learning his wife was drinking beer with the man and other friends, Ngoc Anh brought a knife to the quan. He then stabbed his "rival" multiple times. The victim sustained numerous injuries, including stab wounds to the left chest and neck.

One friend who intervened was also injured by Ngoc Anh. The suspect was arrested at 22h on the same day.
