Ninth-grade student stabbed to death by classmate

A 16-year-old student in Mui Ne ward was fatally stabbed by a classmate during a personal dispute on the afternoon of 24/4.

Lam Dong Provincial Police are examining the scene and investigating a murder case in Mui Ne ward.

At 11:30 AM today, after school, students gathered in front of Le Hong Phong Secondary School. During this time, Nguyen Ngoc Tu, a 9A3 student, and Nguyen Quoc Cuong, a 9A4 student, began arguing. The altercation escalated, and Cuong stabbed Tu in the chest with a knife, causing him to collapse.

Tu received initial emergency treatment for a chest wound at Mui Ne Regional General Clinic before being transferred to Binh Thuan General Hospital. However, the student did not survive due to severe injuries.

Investigators are currently working with individuals involved, and the motive for the killing has not yet been released.
