Guns, support tools, 2,125 rudimentary weapons, and 97 components were crushed by a road roller. 4,000 rounds of ammunition, 30 detonators, 15 boxes of fireworks, and explosive materials were submerged in water, treated with chemicals, and buried.

These weapons were confiscated by provincial police in various cases or surrendered by citizens during weapon collection campaigns. The destruction process was closely supervised by the police and relevant authorities.
Major Nguyen Tien Luc, Captain of Team 2, Administrative Management Police Department of Social Order, Lam Dong Provincial Police, said that in the first 6 months of the year, police units and localities organized 910 propaganda sessions, collecting nearly 500 guns, over 1,700 rounds of ammunition, 19 detonators, 91 support tools, and over 1,500 rudimentary weapons.
