Gia Lai provincial police raided several entertainment venues in Dien Hong ward in the early morning of 15/9.

At a karaoke bar and three motels, police caught 148 people (56 women and 92 men), mostly young, using drugs. The seized evidence included various synthetic drugs like ketamine and ecstasy.

According to investigators, although the venues were registered as karaoke businesses, the rooms had been modified with beds, sofas, flashing lights, and powerful speakers to cater to drug users.

This is the largest drug use and distribution operation uncovered in the province to date.
