On 1/3, Tay Ninh Provincial Police announced that the Trang Bang Traffic Police station temporarily seized the driver's license of a man residing in Thanh Dien ward, Tay Ninh. Authorities also issued a report to further address his actions: obstructing traffic by leaving his vehicle in the roadway and driving without a rearview mirror.

At the police station, the man admitted his wrongdoing. He stated his actions were a momentary outburst and confirmed he had not consumed alcohol or stimulants.
He recounted that around 20:00 on 25/2, he was riding a motorbike with his 23-year-old younger brother. While traveling on Nguyen Van Linh street, his motorbike had a minor collision with a Tay Ninh-registered taxi. The taxi was driven by a male driver and had a woman passenger.
Although neither vehicle was damaged and the two motorbike riders did not fall, the man remained agitated. Believing the taxi driver should apologize, he overtook and blocked the taxi. Afterwards, he repeatedly cursed, tried to open the car door, and challenged them to call the police.
His younger brother moved the motorbike to the side of the road and attempted to intervene, but to no avail. The incident lasted about 10 minutes. A passenger in the taxi recorded a video, which was then posted on social media, causing public outrage and many calls for strict punishment.
