Van admitted to producing the cream since 2024. She sold her products extensively through livestream sales on social media. Recently, sales surged, with some peak days seeing over 500 orders.
The inspection team confirmed that Van's facility operated without a business registration certificate, a cosmetic production eligibility certificate, or product announcement documents as required by regulations.
Van carried out the entire production process manually, offering no assurance of hygiene or safety for consumers.
