Around 7 p.m. on 27/4, many heard desperate screams from Hien's home in Dai Thinh village, Son Tien commune (formerly part of Huong Son district). Upon entering, they found Hien collapsed in the middle of the house, a knife beside her, and blood stains scattered around.

Authorities initially determined the victim suffered multiple stab wounds. The suspect is a man residing in the same village. Investigators are currently examining the scene and searching for the perpetrator.

Hien was divorced and lived with her mother in her home in Dai Thinh village. She has one son studying abroad.
