On the evening of 27/8, police raided the Duong Hong massage parlor in Van Tuong commune (formerly Binh Thuan commune, Binh Son district), operated by 45-year-old Hoang Van Nam. Inside, officers caught two couples engaging in prostitution.

Police documented the scene and brought those involved to the station for questioning. Nam and Nguyen Thi Suu, the 40-year-old manager from Ha Tinh province, were detained.

Investigations revealed 11 female employees at the establishment were available for prostitution services. The women kept a portion of the earnings and gave the rest to the manager, who then passed it on to the owner.

"The prostitution activities here were highly organized and secretive. The owner and manager colluded to allow the female employees to negotiate sex with clients," an investigator said.

Van Tuong commune, home to the Dung Quat Economic Zone, has a large workforce from the local area and other provinces employed in factories and companies specializing in heavy industry and woodchip processing.
