On 6/10, the Tay Ninh Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Department announced the arrest of Vu Anh Tuan, 33, and Lieu Van Dong, 30. They are under investigation for brokering prostitution, purchasing sex from individuals under 18, and rape of individuals under 16.

Trinh Hoang Long, 32, has also been indicted and temporarily detained on charges of purchasing sex from individuals under 18 and brokering prostitution.

Additionally, 4 other individuals were arrested in connection with brokering prostitution, purchasing sex from individuals under 18, rape of individuals under 16, and harboring prostitution.

Initial investigations revealed that starting in 4/2025, Tuan established the Telegram group "Tay Ninh ae." This group served as a platform for advertising and sharing information related to prostitution, attracting thousands of members, including both clients and sex workers. Tuan delegated administrative roles to Dong and Long.

Within the group, Tuan and Dong allegedly directly brokered and managed sex workers, providing their Zalo accounts for clients to make contact.

Long's role involved Tuan and Dong introducing him to sex workers to "verify their quality" through sexual intercourse. Following this, Long would photograph them and post advertisements on the group or a nationwide prostitution forum.

Authorities identified 6 women, aged 19 to 31, who were brokered by Tuan and Dong for financial gain. Beyond brokerage fees, Tuan also allegedly profited from selling condoms, candy, and aphrodisiacs to clients.

During the investigation, police uncovered instances of purchasing sex from individuals under 18 and rape of individuals under 16 within the network. The case remains under active investigation, with authorities continuing to expand their inquiry.
