Police apprehended 6 individuals, including popular singer and actress Miu Le (Le Anh Nhat), on May 10 for suspected drug use at a beach in Cat Ba. The arrests followed a tip-off from residents.

At around 12:30 PM, police inspected the beach area in Hamlet 2, Cat Ba, and took the 6 individuals to the station for questioning.
Tran Duc Phong, 35, from Hanoi, was identified as the person who prepared the drugs: mdma, methamphetamine, and ketamine. Doan Thi Thuy An, 36, a dual Vietnamese and American citizen residing in Cat Ba, was responsible for arranging the location for drug use.
The other participants were Le Anh Nhat (singer Miu Le), 35, from Ho Chi Minh City; Vu Khuong An, 31, a dual Vietnamese and Canadian citizen also from Ho Chi Minh City; Tran Minh Trang, 30, from Hanoi; and Vu Tai Nam, 24, from Bac Ninh.
Rapid test results confirmed that all 6 individuals tested positive for drugs. Specifically, Phong, Nam, An, and Nhat tested positive for methamphetamine, ketamine, and mdma.
Initially, all 6 admitted to using drugs. Hai Phong City Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
Miu Le is a singer and actress popular with young audiences, known for her roles in several hit films.
