Da Nang police arrested a foreign national suspected of robbing the PNJ gold shop on Nui Thanh street, Hoa Cuong ward, on 27/8.

At approximately 8:51 PM on 26/8, a tall young man wearing a green Grab jacket, helmet, and face mask entered the PNJ gold shop.
He repeatedly struck the security guard sitting in front of the store in the head with a metal object.
The suspect then smashed the display case with a hammer, gathered jewelry into a backpack, and fled. When bystanders attempted to trap him inside by closing the door, he forced the lock open and escaped.

Despite the suspect concealing his face and motorcycle's license plate, police located him within hours.
Da Nang police are continuing their investigation.
