Around 4 pm, locals cutting grass near the irrigation ditch in hamlet 1, Quynh Tam commune, discovered two bodies floating near the roadside.

Authorities examined the scene and determined the victims had died several days earlier. Their identities remain unknown.

The ditch where the bodies were found is approximately one meter wide and 1.5 meters deep, with a water level of 30-50 cm. The area is surrounded by dense vegetation.

Local authorities initially suspect the deaths were accidental.

Nghe An Provincial Police are investigating the scene and the cause of death.
