Cooking oil selection tips from Vo Ha Tram and a lineup of chefs

Vo Ha Tram's family, chef Richard Bui, and Tiktoker Phuong Phuong prioritize cooking oils rich in healthy ingredients, suitable for various dishes from salads to stir-fries and deep-fries.

They agree that healthy living begins with daily cooking ingredient choices, and all opt for Neptune Olive Light, a cooking oil recently introduced to the market.

Combining healthy ingredients

In the kitchen of Vu Son and Sophia's family (Tiktok account Phan Family), olive oil is always present. Sophia, who grew up in Europe, values the quality of this oil and regularly uses it for Ukrainian dishes, which often involve salads and light pan-frying. Vu Son, however, prefers rich Asian stir-fries and deep-fried dishes. This difference meant the family had to keep various cooking oils on hand.

Vo Ha Tram and her husband Vikas also share a multicultural home. Despite cultural differences, they align on a core belief: improving life quality and health starts with careful attention to daily meals. Therefore, Vo Ha Tram chose Neptune Olive Light as soon as the product launched.

"I just discovered Neptune Olive Light, which combines the essence of extra virgin olive oil and pure rice bran oil. These are two good oils I always trust, each with its own strength, and now they are subtly combined. It is quite suitable for enhancing healthy living for the whole family," the singer shared.

Suitable for a healthy diet

For those serious about pursuing a healthy lifestyle or vegetarianism, like content creator An Chay Cung Nhi, suitable ingredients make each meal lighter and the cooking experience more reassuring. She was impressed with the product because it combines two oils renowned in the healthy Mediterranean diet. The content creator believes this cooking oil brand will help her achieve a healthy diet and elevate healthy living.

Tiktoker Gia Dinh Bun Dau, who appreciates the health benefits of olive oil and rice bran oil, brought the product home upon learning it combined these two oil components. "This cooking oil is rich in gamma-oryzanol and phytosterol, which are good for heart health, and also rich in antioxidant vitamin E, helping me build a healthy diet for the entire family," Gia Dinh Bun Dau stated.

According to the scientific website Science Direct, extra virgin olive oil is pure olive oil produced by cold-pressing at room temperature with a maximum free fatty acid content of 1% (not to exceed one gram per 100 grams). This oil is considered the best due to minimal processing and high standards for aroma and flavor. Extra virgin olive oil has long been an integral part of many healthy diet guidelines. In the Mediterranean diet pyramid, olive oil holds a central position as the primary fat source.

Meanwhile, pure rice bran oil is extracted from the brown rice bran layer, retaining many nutrients beneficial for the heart, such as gamma-oryzanol and phytosterol, earning it the moniker "heart oil." Many national cardiology organizations, as well as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), include rice bran oil in their healthy diet recommendations.

Versatile in the kitchen

For today's home chefs, a worthwhile ingredient offers not only nutritional value but also versatility, adapting to various cooking methods and complementing diverse culinary styles. Neptune Olive Light, easily applicable to many dishes from European to Asian, and suitable for multiple cooking techniques, has consistently received positive feedback from consumers and chefs since its debut.

Specifically, head chef Vu Xuan Truong, known for his Fusion cuisine style combining refined French culinary techniques with traditional Vietnamese ingredients, commented: "Neptune Olive Light has many advantages. One, the ingredient itself is refined, and two, when paired with food, it provides a complete and harmonious taste experience."

Chef Richard Bui, renowned for his contemporary Asian-European style, highly praises the product. He notes that for the first time, he could prepare tonkatsu (breaded deep-fried pork cutlet) using an oil containing pure olive oil. The chef enthusiastically remarked, "With this innovative combination, olive oil enthusiasts can now confidently prepare stir-fried and deep-fried dishes. This is also a worthwhile choice to enhance the quality of meals."

Representing home cooking enthusiasts, Tiktoker Phuong Phuong, with millions of views, shared her satisfaction with the product after trying it. With one bottle of oil, she can use it for frying, stir-frying, and salad dressing. "The important thing is the light, reassuring feeling, knowing it's good for health," Phuong Phuong said.
