Do Cao Thuc received a notification message while in a meeting with a client. Initially, the 38-year-old engineer thought it was an advertisement from a mobile network provider.
Hours later, organizers of the "Xe Ngay Trung Lien" program called, informing him he was the second winner of the 100 million VND special prize, thanks to drinking Number 1 energy drink.
Thuc is a construction engineer, managing a large oil refinery project in Quang Ngai. His company's headquarters are in Vung Tau, meaning his work involves frequent travel and projects across various locations.

Due to job requirements, Thuc frequently stays on-site, monitoring progress and coordinating personnel to ensure the project operates on schedule. Amidst his busy routine, Number 1 energy drink became a "companion", providing energy to keep him alert, work intensely, and persistently pursue his goal of becoming a better version of himself.
He learned about the "Xe Ngay Trung Lien" promotion from colleagues, and they all encouraged each other to tear off labels and send messages to participate. Thuc was the only one among his peers to win a major prize. "No one expected that drinking a bottle of Number 1 and tearing off the label 'just for fun' would lead to the biggest prize," he shared.
He plans to send a portion of the money to his parents in his hometown as a gift, share his joy, and dedicate a small amount to host a meal with family and friends. The remaining funds will be given to his wife to help manage their household.

Before Thuc, the first winner was Tran Thi My Le, born in 2000, from Lam Dong, who works as a factory worker in Dong Nai. Like previous winners, Le initially "participated for fun" and was surprised to receive a message or call from the organizers about winning a major prize.
Le stated that the prize money arrived at a crucial time, providing resources to invest in her hair salon. Instead of spending on immediate needs, she plans to use most of the funds to renovate her shop, add machinery, and upgrade equipment to enhance service quality. A portion will also be sent to her parents in her hometown.
"100 million VND won't change my life immediately," she shared, "but it helps a plan I've pursued for years start sooner."
