The demand for financial planning and wealth management in Vietnam is evolving. Beyond risk protection, many clients now focus on wealth accumulation, preparing for children's education, retirement plans, and long-term financial goals. This shift creates new demands for financial and insurance advisors.
In response to these changes, Manulife Vietnam launched the "Green Prosperity Ambassador" recruitment program. The program aims to build a well-trained team of advisors to meet the market's increasing demands. According to a company representative, the initiative focuses on supporting candidates during career transitions and equipping them with essential knowledge and skills for long-term industry growth.

Candidates joining the program receive financial support for the initial 90 days to alleviate pressure during their career transition. They also undergo in-depth training in insurance, financial planning, and wealth management, enhancing their advisory capabilities to meet evolving market standards. Furthermore, the program equips advisors with a modern technology ecosystem and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to analyze client needs, prepare advisory plans, and improve work efficiency.
Manulife Vietnam emphasizes a key differentiator of the program: its focus on developing professional financial advisors who can partner with clients on critical financial decisions long-term. The program is ideal for individuals with experience in finance, banking, securities, real estate, wealth management, or other premium service sectors.

These candidates typically possess client interaction experience, relationship-building skills, and a foundational understanding of finance. With additional training in insurance, financial planning, and wealth management, their prior experience becomes an advantage, helping them adapt quickly to new roles and build long-term careers in the industry.
Tina Nguyen, General Director of Manulife Vietnam, observed that the rapid evolution of financial planning and wealth management needs in Vietnam demands increasingly professional advisors. Vietnam is experiencing a significant expansion of its middle class and affluent client segment. Henley & Partners reports nearly 20,000 USD millionaires in Vietnam. Additionally, Knight Frank's "The Wealth Report 2025" identified over 5,000 individuals with a net worth of USD 10 million or more. This trend actively drives the demand for specialized financial planning and wealth management solutions.

Meanwhile, life insurance penetration still has significant room for growth. Data from the Insurance Association of Vietnam indicates that by the end of 2025, only about 11,7% of the population will have life insurance. This gap presents a substantial opportunity for the life insurance industry and considerable career potential for professional advisors in the coming period.
Through the "Green Prosperity Ambassador" program, Manulife aims to develop a generation of professional, well-trained advisors to deliver greater value to clients. "We believe the future of the insurance industry belongs to advisory teams capable of building trust and long-term partnerships with clients," said Tina Nguyen.
Beyond developing a new generation of financial and insurance advisors, Manulife also introduced "Xanh phu quy", a new-generation unit-linked insurance product. This product combines financial protection and long-term investment within a single solution.
According to the company, this solution enables advisors to engage in more comprehensive discussions with clients. It connects financial protection needs with goals for wealth accumulation, asset growth, and long-term family financial planning. This also provides a significant advantage, helping advisory teams create distinct value for clients.
