A recent VnExpress survey, which gathered nearly 700 responses over eight days, presented five choices for defining prosperity: finance, health, family, passion, and spreading values.
Financial well-being emerged as the top choice, with 31% of respondents defining prosperity as "having financial investment solutions to increase assets and have more choices in life."
A Generali representative explained that effective financial investment is not solely about asset ownership. It emphasizes proactive preparation for future goals. A strong financial foundation comes from long-term decisions, such as saving a portion of income, creating a financial plan, or choosing suitable investments to gradually grow assets.
While these choices may not yield significant short-term results, consistent application helps individuals proactively manage important milestones, from buying a home and funding children's education to personal projects and retirement plans.

Health ranked second, with 29% of the votes. According to Generali, combining daily health care with proactive risk preparation provides peace of mind, enabling individuals to pursue their objectives.
While finance enables long-term planning, health forms the foundation for sustaining those plans. Health care starts with daily habits: a balanced diet, regular exercise, sufficient sleep, and adequate rest.
However, unpredictable issues can arise over time. Therefore, beyond a healthy lifestyle, many also seek suitable health protection plans to mitigate the impact of unexpected risks on their life plans.
The remaining survey options highlighted a comprehensive view of a prosperous life.
Family accounted for 15% of choices, linked to building a future with loved ones and dedicating time to each other. Passion followed with 13%, emphasizing the ability to pursue personal interests rather than focusing solely on financial goals.
Spreading values, at 12%, offered another perspective, where a desirable life is also measured by the positive contributions one makes to the community and those around them.
Generali's representative added that the survey results indicate individuals prioritize different aspects of prosperity. However, all these elements require time and effort to cultivate. Finance needs preparation, health requires care, family warrants dedicated time, and passions and values need persistent pursuit.
