Play Together VNG, in collaboration with Beat Network, organized the "Mai xinh don ram" costume design contest from 1/8 to 14/8. The contest encouraged players to combine inspiration from lion dance figures with traditional cultural elements to create new looks for NPC Mai, a character symbolizing each Mid-Autumn Festival season in the game.
According to the organizers, players were placed in a direct creative role. "From the lion dance figure, which is inherently linked to the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere, each person could freely express their style through their approach, colors, and forms," a representative stated.

The organizers received over 700 entries, showcasing diverse interpretations of the lion dance figure through colors, patterns, and designs. Many contestants not only recreated traditional images but also incorporated NPC Mai's personality to create works imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, while expressing their unique taste.
In the end, the first prize went to "nguyen da long lan" by sanlouis, and the two second prizes were awarded to "mai xinh nghinh lan" (ᴘʟᴀʏメLiam12th4) and "ram nguyet su" (YiSeol송트).

Not content to keep the creativity on screen, the organizers brought these imaginative ideas from the game world to a real-life stage. Specifically, the top three designs were tailored and featured at the "ram ro" themed fashion show, held in Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi, on 11/9.
"Behind these designs is a community of players who always actively create their own products and stories," the organizer's representative added.

For Play Together VNG, the in-game world is more than just an entertainment space. Players can build character images, create content, participate in community activities, and express their individuality through a series of self-designed products.
"Mai xinh don ram" provided an additional space for this ability to connect with Vietnamese culture. By choosing the lion dance figure, cloud patterns, and familiar red and yellow hues as materials, players did not just observe a traditional value but directly interpreted it, creating designs with a strong personal touch.
Through the contest, Play Together VNG maintained the Kaia Artist title to recognize individuals who made outstanding contributions to creative activities. This also provides the community with more space to showcase their works, acknowledge their individuality, and connect with other players.
