On the morning of 23/12, the 15th meeting of the Central Executive Committee held its closing session, having completed its agenda, including a report on personnel for the 14th national congress.

General Secretary To Lam, in his closing remarks at the 15th Central Committee meeting, stated that after two days of work, the Central Committee had completed its agenda with "high unity and quality". Central Committee members demonstrated dedication, frankness, and a sense of responsibility as Party members to the Party, people, and nation.

The Central Committee thoroughly discussed and unanimously approved the 13th Central Executive Committee's draft report on documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress, specifically the Political Report and the Action Program for implementing the 14th Party Congress's Resolution.

Concurrently, the Central Committee unanimously approved the Party's personnel report for submission to the 14th National Congress. The Central Committee also voted, with a high concentration of votes, to approve personnel nominations for the 14th Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and key Party and State leaders for the 2026-2031 term. These nominations will be presented to the 14th National Congress for consideration, decision, and election according to Party regulations and statutes.

At the meeting, the Central Committee thoroughly discussed the content and tasks for preparing and successfully organizing the 14th Party Congress.

Previously, during yesterday's working day, the Central Committee met separately to provide feedback for finalizing the 13th Central Executive Committee's report on personnel for the 14th Central Executive Committee. This report will be submitted to the 14th National Congress and the first Central Committee meeting of the 14th tenure for decision and election according to regulations.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Central Committee worked in groups, discussing and providing feedback on the draft documents for the 14th National Congress, which included: the Political Report; a report summarizing theoretical and practical issues of the Doi Moi (renewal) process with a socialist orientation over the past 40 years in Vietnam; and a report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter during the 2011-2025 period, along with proposals and orientations for supplementing and amending the Party Charter.
