15th central committee plenum opens

On the morning of 22/12, the 15th plenum of the 13th central committee convened, providing input on three important agenda items, including personnel preparations for the 14th party congress.

General Secretary To Lam delivered the opening remarks for the plenum, and President Luong Cuong presided over the working program.

The 15th Central Committee Plenum will review and provide feedback on the tasks required to successfully organize the 14th National Party Congress.

Three key agenda items will be addressed: personnel preparations for the 14th Party Congress; the draft content of documents to be submitted to the 14th Party Congress; and organizational tasks for the congress.

The Central Committee will discuss various tasks for organizing the 14th Party Congress, including: working regulations and election regulations for the 14th Congress; a report on inspection, supervision, and party discipline enforcement during the 13th Congress term; a report on inspection, supervision, and party discipline enforcement for 2025, along with work directions and tasks for 2026; the policy of reviewing 100 years of Communist Party of Vietnam leadership (1930-2030) in the Vietnamese Revolution; a review of 40 years of implementing the national construction platform during the transition to socialism; a report on organizational work for the 14th Congress; and other related matters.
