Four residents used live fish as bait, luring the crocodile into a pond about 20 meters from its initial location. They then set a trap to catch it. Approximately 30 minutes later, the animal was subdued and tied up.
"We didn't dare keep it in the house, so we reported it to the hamlet for handling," said the person who discovered the crocodile.
According to local authorities, there are no crocodile farming households in the Hamlet 5 area. Local authorities documented the incident and handed over the animal to local authorities for coordinated management and handling to ensure public safety.
