On 17/4, the collection team discovered bones, teeth, and numerous soldiers' artifacts in a cave in the Chu Pa mountain area (Doch 1 village). Six sets of remains were found during this specific operation.
The six recently discovered sets of remains were located tens of meters from where 12 sets had been found earlier, following a tip-off from local residents.

At the scene, authorities noted numerous artifacts linked to soldiers' daily life and combat, including: ponchos, hammocks, parachute fabric, AK magazines, buttons, rubber sandal soles, communication wires, brushes, medicine bottles, military insignia, and iron bowls.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Giang Le Sang, Political Commissar of the 34th Corps' Fallen Soldiers' Remains Collection Team, documents indicate that the Chu Pa mountain area served as an operational base for several units of the Central Highlands Front (B3) during the 1966-1969 period.
Since 2020, this team has located and collected 64 sets of remains in the Chu Pa mountain area.
