The provincial authorities have tasked relevant departments and sectors with coordinating land procedures, planning, and power grid connections. They will also guide specialized procedures, supervise operations, and manage land allocation and leasing in accordance with regulations.
Investors are required to comply with all legal regulations concerning investment, construction, land, and environmental protection. They must ensure that equipment has clear origins and meets technical standards and electrical system safety requirements. Any transfer of the project can only be carried out with the approval of the competent authority.
This initiative follows previous approvals by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee for numerous large-scale renewable energy projects. The largest among these is the Hon Trau Wind Power Plant - phase 1 in Phu My Dong commune, valued at over 48,300 billion VND.
Other wind power projects previously approved include Van Canh 1 (over 6,900 billion VND), Van Canh 2 (over 7,770 billion VND), Vinh Thuan (nearly 4,700 billion VND), and An Thanh Gia Lai (1,580 billion VND).
