The Da Nang People's Committee reported that 28 communes and wards across the city currently lack 170 officials and civil servants compared to allocated quotas. The most significant pressure is concentrated in Hoa Khanh Ward, with 20 vacant positions; Lien Chieu Ward and Tan Hiep Commune follow, each lacking 19 personnel.
To address this, the city has instructed localities with surplus personnel to proactively coordinate with units experiencing shortages within the same or neighboring areas for reassignment. Each such unit must reassign at least one to two personnel for a 12-month term; localities can propose positions that align with the actual needs of the receiving location.

Recently, due to personnel shortages, six city departments and agencies have had to deploy over 300 officials and public employees to directly support communes and wards in maintaining administrative operations.
The Da Nang People's Committee mandates that all reassignments must be completed by 30/12. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the People's Committees of the communes and wards are directly accountable to the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee for the implementation results. The Department of Home Affairs will serve as the focal agency to monitor, urge, and advise on the overall report.
