The victim, Hoang Thi Quyen, from Hong Van commune, Hanoi, was discovered near Cua Dua at around 3 p.m. today by Rescue Team 116 and the Ha Long Paragliding Club. Quyen’s family has identified the body.

Quyen, her husband, and some friends were on vacation in Ha Long Bay. They boarded the Vinh Xanh 58 at 12:55 p.m. on 19/7. At 1:30 p.m., before reaching any destinations, the boat was hit by a squall, capsized, and sank. Quyen's husband and 36 others died, while she and another passenger went missing. 10 people were rescued.
Over the past few days, 28 search teams from the Quang Ninh provincial police and military, along with volunteer forces such as Rescue Team 116 and the Ha Long Paragliding Club, have been scouring the bay for the remaining missing victim.
