Around 11 a.m. on 8/7, a fire ignited in an electric tourist vehicle that was charging at the parking area of the Huong Tich Trading and General Services Co., Ltd., located within the Huong Tich pagoda tourist site (Can Loc commune). The fire quickly spread, sending a plume of smoke dozens of meters high, accompanied by several loud explosions.
The parking area, a structure of over 100 square meters with a steel frame and corrugated iron roof, housed 9 electric tourist vehicles belonging to the company and a 5-seat car parked nearby, belonging to an employee.
The Ha Tinh police department dispatched two fire trucks and 12 firefighters to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading to other areas within the Huong Tich pagoda tourist site.
After approximately 30 minutes, the fire was brought under control. However, the 9 electric vehicles and the 5-seat car were completely destroyed, leaving only charred metal frames. No injuries were reported.
Provincial police are investigating the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
