After two months of construction and design, the Spring Binh Ngo 2026 mascot cluster went on display at Nguyen Tat Thanh square, Quy Nhon ward, from 8/2. The project was funded through community contributions.
The horse mascot embodies the idea of harmoniously connecting the highlands and the sea, nature and cultural identity. This concept fits the context of the first local merger between Binh Dinh and Gia Lai.

The main horse mascot, over 9 m tall, is shaped like Saint Giong's warhorse, with solid, powerful muscles, appearing to rise from the heart of Chu Dang Ya volcano. It symbolizes an invincible spirit. Photo: Dung Nhan
The left side of the main mascot cluster features warrior elephants and soldier horses, stylized to represent the Tay Son rebels. Additionally, there is a horse playing bai choi, a traditional folk game typical of the Central region.
Whales, Cham towers, and Binh Dinh's unique products, such as coconuts and dragon fruit, are recreated in the mascot cluster.
The right side depicts a horse wearing brocade, the traditional attire of the Central Highlands people, along with gongs and distinctive products like can wine jars and coffee beans. These elements evoke the spirit of community connection and the culinary culture of Gia Lai.

The space behind the main mascot cluster serves as a backdrop, featuring light effects, steam, and smoke bubbles to enhance the ethereal image of a spaceship and astronaut horses flying into space. This represents the aspiration of today's Gia Lai youth to conquer scientific and technical heights.
People enjoy taking photos with the "slimming" horse mascot. This area also features models of a horse family at sea and a whimsical superman horse.
In the miniature cluster, a "poker-faced" horse mascot holding a smartphone (iPhone 17) draws attention with its round shape and curly blonde hair. This mascot delights many tourists, who take souvenir photos. Ms. Le Thi Tu, Dak Lak, stated that she is very fond of the mascot holding an iPhone 17, as it reflects modern life and keeps pace with technology trends.
