President Luong Cuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh receive orders

General Secretary To Lam presented the first-class military exploit order to President Luong Cuong and the first-class independence order to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

A ceremony was held on the afternoon of 3/4 at the Party Central Committee headquarters to award orders to key and high-ranking leaders of the Party, State, Government, and Military.

During the event, General Secretary To Lam also presented first-class military exploit orders to General Phan Van Giang, Minister of Defense; Nguyen Xuan Thang, former Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Tran Quang Phuong, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; and Nguyen Chi Dung, Deputy Prime Minister.

President Luong Cuong and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man awarded second-class independence orders and second-class military exploit orders to 10 officials.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu presented third-class independence orders, third-class military exploit orders, and second-class fatherland protection orders to 15 outstanding individuals.

General Secretary To Lam affirmed this as a special recognition from the Party, State, and people for the significant and outstanding contributions of these officials in national construction and defense.

According to the General Secretary, these noble awards reflect the Party and State's appreciation for the merit, wisdom, resolve, responsibility, and dedication of officials who have devoted their minds and efforts to the revolutionary cause. This also honors the qualities and ethics of those who demonstrate unwavering loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party, and the people; remaining steadfast in all challenges, and prioritizing national and ethnic interests above all.

"What is truly valuable is that in any position, under any circumstances, these comrades have always clearly demonstrated the stature of a high-ranking leader of the Party, State, and Military," he said, emphasizing their firm resolve, strategic thinking, decisive actions, and a meticulous, scientific approach; consistency between words and deeds; courage to think, act, and take responsibility; not backing down from difficulties, not avoiding major tasks, and not wavering in the face of challenges.

General Secretary To Lam noted that leaders made many crucial decisions in urgent contexts, with some tasks implemented under significant pressure, even without precedent. This often required simultaneous execution and refinement, addressing immediate concerns while planning for the long term. During these times, officials, along with the collective leadership, upheld principles, adhered to reality, and made timely decisions, helping the country overcome challenges and maintain a proactive stance.

The awarded orders "recognize the process of training, striving, and contributing of these officials, linked to their responsibility, dedication, and important decisions in their work."
