Around 2 PM, a 25-seat bus carrying a group of students from Banking University in TP HCM, along with backpacks and school supplies, was en route to Vu A Dinh Semi-Boarding Primary School. Upon reaching Bon B'Dong in Ta Dung commune, the bus overturned due to the steep, slippery road conditions.

Upon receiving the report, officers from Task Force Number 4 of the Regional Defense Command 3 - Bao Lam, who were stationed in Ta Dung commune, collaborated with local authorities to carry out rescue operations.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Duc Thuan, Deputy Chief of Staff of Regional Defense Command 3 - Bao Lam, reported that 5 students were injured and taken to Ta Dung Commune Health Station for first aid. Three suffered abrasions, and two sustained broken arms. The university subsequently transported them back to TP HCM for further treatment.
