On january 21, a leader from My Thuan Project Management Board, the investor, confirmed that the entire expressway is currently toll-free. Three interchanges have been completed and are operational: IC2 in Hung Phu ward, Can Tho city; IC5 in Vi Thuy commune, Can Tho city; and IC12 in Ho Thi Ky commune, Ca Mau province.
The remaining four interchanges, along with guardrails, signs, and toll stations, are under construction and are expected to be completed in Q2 this year. Following their completion, the route will be handed over to the Vietnam Road Administration for management, which will then implement the scheduled toll collection.

The Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway is a section of the North-South Expressway East project, funded by the State budget. According to the road transport infrastructure asset exploitation scheme, expressways financed by the State will collect tolls as regulated.
The Vietnam Road Administration has proposed two toll rates for standard vehicles, which include oto under 12 seats, trucks under 2 tons, and public buses. A rate of 1,300 dong/km applies to expressways that fully meet toll collection conditions, such as having 4 lanes and continuous emergency stopping lanes. A lower rate of 900 dong/km is proposed for routes that do not fully meet these conditions. The Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway will apply the 900 dong/km rate.

With a length of nearly 111 km, vehicles traveling the entire route are expected to pay approximately 99,000 dong. Tolls will be collected via electronic toll collection (ETC). After 7 years of toll collection, the management agency will evaluate and calculate the subsequent infrastructure exploitation and management plan.
The Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway spans nearly 111 km and has a width of 17 m. It passes through Can Tho city and the provinces of An Giang and Ca Mau, with a total investment exceeding 27,500 billion dong. Phase one of the project includes the Can Tho - Hau Giang section, nearly 38 km long, and the Hau Giang - Ca Mau section, which is over 73 km long. The route was put into operation from january 19.
