Car crushed after falling into ravine, three people survive

A pickup truck crashed down a slope at Can Ty pass, with three occupants fortunately surviving, on the afternoon of 3/2.

Around 12:00 PM on 3/2, a pickup truck with a Ninh Binh province license plate was traveling on National Highway 4C. Upon reaching the Can Ty pass in Can Ty commune, Tuyen Quang province, the vehicle overturned, rolled multiple times, and plunged over 20 m down an embankment. Following the crash, local residents and passersby broke open the car doors and helped extract the victims from the wreckage.

A Can Ty commune leader reported that the driver sustained severe injuries, while the other two suffered minor injuries. All three were transported for emergency treatment at Quan Ba Regional General Hospital in Tuyen Quang province.

The accident occurred on a multi-tiered winding section of road. At the scene, the pickup truck was mangled, almost completely destroyed.
