Car causes multi-vehicle accident on Hanoi street

After colliding with two cars traveling in the same direction, a 7-seater overturned at Nga Tu So intersection; the driver was assisted out by residents in a disoriented state, at noon on 17/12.

A multi-vehicle accident involving three cars occurred at Nga Tu So intersection in Hanoi at approximately 12h on 17/12. A 7-seater vehicle, traveling on Lang Street towards Truong Chinh, first struck an electric car heading in the same direction. The 7-seater then veered, colliding with the side of a 4-seater Vios that was stopped at the intersection, waiting for a red light, before overturning.

Following the crash, the driver of the overturned 7-seater was trapped inside the cabin. Passersby quickly came to his aid, helping him exit the vehicle. The man appeared disoriented at the scene.

At the scene, the electric car sustained front-end damage. The 4-seater Vios had a dented side, while the 7-seater suffered broken windows, extensive body damage, and deployed airbags. The incident caused significant traffic congestion in the area. Authorities cleared the damaged vehicles by approximately 14h40.

According to a commander from Road Traffic Police Team 3 (Hanoi Police Traffic Police Department), none of the three drivers sustained injuries. Initial tests revealed no alcohol violations. The accident's cause remains under investigation.
