Car flips after accident on Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway

A 7-seater car blew a tire and collided with a bus on the Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway, causing passengers to be thrown onto the road on the afternoon of 9/7.

Around 5:25 PM, a blue 7-seater car carrying at least three people was traveling on the Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway. Near the Cao Bo toll station in Ninh Binh province, the car's tire blew out, causing it to collide with a bus traveling in the same direction.

The impact flipped the 7-seater car onto its roof, shattering it and ejecting people and belongings onto the road. Some individuals lay motionless, while others suffered abrasions. Several passing drivers stopped to assist the victims.

The Hanoi-registered sleeper bus involved in the collision ended up on the median strip, its front end crumpled and windows broken. Over 30 panicked passengers evacuated the bus and waited on the median for another vehicle.

The accident caused traffic congestion in the area. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
