Around 3h, a male driver in his 40s was operating a tractor-trailer pulling a 40-foot container, weighing about 28 tons, on Do Muoi street. The truck was heading from Song Than overpass towards An Suong roundabout. While navigating the roundabout beneath Binh Phuoc overpass, the vehicle lost balance and overturned onto its side.

The incident caused a large quantity of paint from the container to spill out, covering the road surface. The truck blocked the roundabout, leading to prolonged traffic congestion in the area.

A dashcam from a following car recorded the moment the container truck overturned; a 7-seater vehicle behind it managed to stop, avoiding a collision. After the accident, the driver sustained minor injuries and exited the cabin on his own.

Traffic police were present to document the scene and coordinate incident handling. Workers were mobilized to spread sand on the road surface to reduce slipperiness caused by the spilled paint. By over 8h, the damaged vehicle was removed from the scene, and traffic gradually stabilized.
