Bui Thi Quynh Van, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the personnel decision to Hung at a conference announcing personnel decisions by the Secretariat of the Central Committee on the morning of 27/3.

In his acceptance speech, the new deputy secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed his commitment to working with Khanh Hoa province's leadership to build upon the achievements of previous generations and strive for the province's continued development.

Hung, 47 years old, is from Bat Trang commune, Hanoi City. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in business administration. He has held various positions, including Deputy General Director of the Investment and Urban Development Corporation (HUD), Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Construction, and Chairman of HUD's Board of Members. In 9/2024, the Prime Minister appointed him Deputy Minister of Construction.

Regarding key personnel in Khanh Hoa province, on 25/3, Nghiem Xuan Thanh, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, was elected as an additional member of the 14th Central Inspection Commission for the 2026-2031 term by the Party Central Committee.
