Around 10:30 AM, a fire started at a kiosk in the Mang Den night economic zone, Mang Den commune, Quang Ngai province. Because the stalls were mainly constructed from wood and flammable materials, the fire quickly intensified, spreading to neighboring shops situated amidst the pine forest.

Dozens of firefighters and multiple vehicles were mobilized to the scene. After about one hour, the blaze was largely brought under control. Initial reports indicate approximately 4 kiosks were destroyed.

According to residents, the cause may have been sparks during welding. Authorities are investigating the incident.

The Mang Den night economic zone is a new tourism model, spanning approximately 2,5 hectares within a pine forest. Opened in late 2024, the zone operates from afternoon until midnight, featuring 24 stalls designed to blend with nature. It integrates dining, shopping, check-in points, glamping, and an art performance stage.

Here, visitors can experience local culture, enjoy regional specialties, and participate in evening entertainment. The model aims to create a "civilized, modern, friendly" destination, diversifying tourism products and extending tourist stays in Mang Den.
