On the afternoon of 17/3, the Da Nang City Party Standing Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
According to the decision, the Politburo relieved Nguyen Manh Hung of his position as Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee. Concurrently, the Politburo assigned and appointed him to the City Party Executive Committee, the City Party Standing Committee, and as Deputy Secretary of Da Nang City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, Bui Thi Quynh Van, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, recognized Nguyen Manh Hung as an experienced official in Party building and state management. She urged him to quickly adapt to his new role and work with the city's leadership to fulfill duties.
Nguyen Manh Hung pledged to be exemplary, uphold unity, actively listen to the people's opinions, and collaborate with the city's leadership to achieve goals.
Nguyen Manh Hung, 52 years old, is originally from Ha Noi and holds a Doctor of economic management degree. He rose through the ranks in the Party's inspection work, serving in many positions at the Central Inspection Committee. These roles included Deputy Director of the Department of Financial Inspection, Deputy Director of the Department of General Economics, and Deputy Director of Department one of the Central Inspection Committee. He later became Director of the Department of Financial Inspection and Director of Department one of the Central Inspection Committee. In 3/2023, he became a member of the 13th Central Inspection Committee.
In early 2025, the Secretariat assigned and transferred him to serve as Deputy Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee. Subsequently, he held the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. By mid-2025, he served as Deputy Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee (after merger) and Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
In October of the same year, at the 13th Central Committee's 13th Plenum, he became a member of the Central Inspection Committee. Then, in early 2026, at the 14th Central Committee's first Plenum, he became Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee.
