Do Vinh Quang, son of 'Bau Hien', pledges to develop school football

Businessman Do Vinh Quang, son of Do Quang Hien, stated that if elected as a People's Council representative, he would coordinate the implementation of school football programs.

On the morning of 6/3, a meeting between candidates for the Hanoi People's Council for the 2026-2031 term and voters was held in electoral unit 30. The event combined a direct session at Quang Minh commune with an online connection to Me Linh, Tien Thang, and Yen Lang communes.

Electoral unit 30 features seven candidates: Tran The Cuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council; Nguyen Thanh Liem, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Quang Minh Commune People's Council; Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of T&T Group Joint Stock Company; Truong Van Tan, specialist at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Doan Van Thanh, officer of the Hanoi Veterans Association; Hoang Anh Tuan, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Tien Thang Commune People's Council; and Le Hong Van, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell and Deputy Principal of Dai Thinh B Kindergarten in Quang Minh commune.

At the conference, Tran The Cuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council, highlighted the city's diligent and effective implementation of Party directives and resolutions. He emphasized efforts to overcome five major bottlenecks, including traffic congestion, environmental pollution, and flooding. He also outlined a goal of achieving double-digit growth, 11% or more, starting in 2026 and throughout the 2026-2031 period.

Cuong affirmed that if voters re-elect him as a People's Council representative for the 2026-2031 term, he will continue to strive for the city's development and help address existing bottlenecks. "Regardless of my position, I will uphold my responsibility to set an example. My words will match my actions; I will act immediately, effectively, and thoroughly, without ostentation or formality. I aim to build a government that serves the people, is transparent, and effective," Cuong stated.

Presenting his action plan to voters, Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Association and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of T&T Group, emphasized that investing in people, especially the younger generation, is a long-term foundation for every locality, alongside economic development.

In his role as Chairman of Hanoi Football Club, Quang committed to coordinating the implementation of systematic school football programs. These programs will feature clear training roadmaps, fostering connections among schools, families, and professional organizations. Additionally, they will focus on selecting and training local talents.

Quang expressed his hope that the football fields in Quang Minh, Me Linh, Tien Thang, and Yen Lang will nurture many children, providing them with systematic training and opportunities to develop into professional players, potentially even national team members in the future. "However, the goal is not solely about discovering sports talent. More importantly, it is about helping children develop discipline, willpower, teamwork, and resilience in overcoming difficulties," Quang explained.

Do Vinh Quang, 31 years old, is the son of Do Quang Hien and is among the 205 candidates for the Hanoi People's Council for the 2026-2031 term. Besides his role as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of T&T Group Joint Stock Company, Quang holds several leadership positions within the group's business ecosystem and other entities. For example, he is Chairman of Hanoi Football Club, Chairman of T&T Retail, T&T Homes, T&T Hospitality, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Forestry Corporation, Chairman of Vietravel Airlines, and a Board Member of the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
