Dong Nai administrative center expected to employ 4,500 people

The Dong Nai administrative center, planned on the site of Bien Hoa 1 industrial park spanning over 102 hectares, is expected to have 4,200-4,500 employees.

The detailed 1/500 scale plan for the city's political-administrative center in Tran Bien ward was approved by the Dong Nai City People's Committee on 26/6. This significant project, spanning 102,5 hectares, is designed to accommodate 4,200-4,500 officials and public employees, excluding visitors.

The center's location is strategically bordered by Ha Noi highway (National Route 1) to the east and southeast, and the Dong Nai River to the west and southwest. Its remaining two sides adjoin planned urban-commercial-service areas. This complex will serve as the headquarters for the city's Party, government, Fatherland Front, and various political-social organizations, while also integrating public spaces, cultural facilities, conference areas, and a central square.

The Dong Nai City People's Committee stated that the center is envisioned as a modern development with synchronized technical and social infrastructure. It will feature a combination of a central square, a park, and water features, designed to create a distinct architectural landmark along the Dong Nai River. Buildings within the complex will have a maximum height of 10 stories. Construction is anticipated to commence on 8/7.

This project marks a new chapter, as seventeen years ago, Dong Nai had initially planned a political-administrative center in Tam Phuoc ward (formerly Bien Hoa City). That earlier proposal included a 15-story building with an estimated total capital of 2,200 ty dong. However, the locality later decided to relocate the project to its current site within Bien Hoa 1 industrial park.
