Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Quoc Phong, Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and expressed gratitude for the responsibility shown by local authorities, various sectors, levels of government, benefactors, and residents who contributed to the program's success.

Mr. Phong emphasized that the program generated widespread social engagement, enabling Dong Thap to finish ahead of schedule. He highlighted the proactiveness of various government levels and sectors, combined with the support from the community, as key factors showcasing the compassionate, dynamic, and innovative spirit of Dong Thap's people.

Looking ahead, the Provincial Party Committee Secretary urged continued local support for the livelihoods of families who received new homes, aiming to eliminate poverty in Dong Thap. He stated that the province would continue to address the housing needs of other groups and care for the poor, disadvantaged, and vulnerable, ensuring no one is left behind.

At the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to eight groups and three individuals for their outstanding achievements in the "Joining Hands to Eliminate Dilapidated Housing in Dong Thap Province in 2025" campaign.
