Around 5 h, a fire erupted at the Bien electronics store on Hoang Dieu street, Long Khanh ward. Due to numerous flammable materials stored closely together inside, the flames spread rapidly.
Neighbors discovered the blaze and raised alarms, attempting to extinguish it, but the locked doors prevented their efforts. Within a short time, the fire engulfed the store, sending columns of smoke dozens of meters high.

Fire police forces dispatched 6 specialized vehicles and dozens of firefighters to combat the blaze. As the store was located in a residential area, many nearby homes were in a panic, and residents moved their belongings. Police divided into several teams to control the fire, preventing it from spreading. By approximately 7 h, the fire was largely contained.
The affected building consisted of a ground floor and a mezzanine, with a total floor area of approximately 1,400 m2, of which 700 m2 was destroyed. When authorities accessed the scene, they brought out three victims: Do Quyen, 26, and her one-year-old son were deceased, while her husband, suffering from severe respiratory failure, received emergency hospitalization.
The cause and extent of the damage are currently under verification and investigation.
