A vacant electronics superstore in Hanoi's Ha Dong ward caught fire on the morning of 6/7. The blaze erupted around 8:40 AM from the third floor of the 5-story building located at 135 Tran Phu street. The property, which previously operated as an electronics superstore, was undergoing renovation and being cleared at the time of the incident, with all merchandise already removed.
Flames burst from the windows, sending thick black smoke billowing from the third floor and down to the street. The spectacle drew numerous onlookers, leading to significant traffic congestion in the area.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. However, several witnesses reported that workers were cutting iron and corrugated iron on the building's facade as part of the renovation efforts when the fire started.
This incident follows another recent fire on 3/7 in Hanoi, which occurred at house number 7, adjacent to 9, in the Van Phu urban area, Kien Hung ward. That blaze tragically resulted in the deaths of a father and child, and left one person severely burned.
